Quality and Cosmetic Standards

At Easton Hill, each piece of furniture is individually handcrafted. We take great pride in the artistry and character that define our work — no two pieces are exactly alike. Just as every tree is unique, so is every Easton Hill table, dresser, or chair.

Because of this craftsmanship, you can expect natural variations that reflect the authenticity of real wood and the hand-built process. Before placing your order, please ensure you understand and agree to these characteristics:

  • Unique wood grain patterns and natural color variations, with every piece accepting stain differently, even when using the exact same finish
  • Open knots, with knots on top surfaces carefully filled for a smooth finish
  • Visible brush strokes or slight textural differences
  • Minor surface irregularities or micro-imperfections consistent with natural materials and craftsman production such as general nicks and cracks
  • Rustic character details, such as light distressing, exposed hardware, wood filler, joint lines, or natural oxidation

Real wood is a material that may naturally expand and contract with changes in temperature and humidity. This movement does not affect the structural integrity of your furniture.

Please note: Easton Hill furniture is not machine-made or mass-produced. Each piece is intentionally crafted to showcase the natural beauty, texture, and individuality of wood.

Natural variations in materials and finishes — including wood grain, knots, color tone, or texture — are not considered defects.

These characteristics are celebrated as part of the authentic charm and craftsmanship that define Easton Hill furniture.
