FAQ

Ordering

How do I place an order?

All orders can be placed directly through our website. Once your order is submitted, you’ll receive an order confirmation email. Please review all details carefully—because each piece is made to order, changes or cancellations may only be made within 24 hours.

Are your pieces made to order?

Yes. Every Easton Hill piece is built specifically for you. This allows us to ensure exceptional quality, and consistency of the wood finish.

Can I make changes after placing my order?

Changes—including quantity, finish (stain), size, wood species, or other options—must be requested within 24 hours of placing your order.

Customization

Can I customize a piece?

Many of our pieces offer customization options such as size changes, wood species, or finish selections. Customization outside these options may be available on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us at support@eastonhill.com or 501-500-1230 to discuss your vision.

What is included in your finishes?

Each finish is sealed with a protective topcoat designed for daily use. Variations in grain, texture, and color are natural and part of our Quality and Cosmetic Standards for handcrafted hardwood furniture.

Will my furniture match the photos exactly?

No.  Because every board of wood is unique, slight variations in grain, tone, and texture are expected. Every piece accepts stain differently, and will look different based on room lighting.

These natural characteristics make each piece unique and are part of the charm of handcrafted furniture.

Building & Shipping Times

How long does it take to receive my furniture?

Building times vary based on the piece. Estimated timelines from ordering to shipping are listed on each product page. After shipping from the workshop, the carrier will reach out to you to coordinate delivery.  Delivery times vary by delivery location. Once your furniture ships, our white-glove delivery partner will contact you to coordinate delivery details.

Why does handcrafted furniture take longer?

Every Easton Hill piece is bench-built by skilled American craftsmen. Each board is hand-selected, shaped, joined, and finished using traditional techniques—work that cannot be rushed without compromising quality.

Payment & Financing

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other secure payment methods shown at checkout.

Do you require payment in full?

Yes. Because each piece is custom-built, full payment is required at the time of purchase to begin your build.

Shipping & Delivery

How will my furniture ship?

Most orders are delivered using blanket-wrap furniture delivery, one of the safest methods available. Your furniture is wrapped by hand in padded moving blankets and transported by carriers specializing in high-end furniture.

Is assembly included?

Yes. Our In-Home delivery service includes placement of your furniture in the room of your choice, assembly (if needed), and removal of packaging materials.

How do I prepare for delivery?

Please verify that your furniture will fit through doorways, stairways, elevators, hallways, and the intended room. We are unable to offer returns or refunds for items that cannot be delivered due to measurement issues.

Will I receive tracking information?

Yes. Once your order ships, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation with tracking details. The delivery carrier will also contact you directly to schedule a delivery window.

Inspecting Your Furniture

What if my furniture arrives damaged?

Please review our Returns & Refunds Policy.

Returns & Refunds

Do you accept returns?

Because each piece is made to order, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations after the initial 24-hour window. Please review our Returns & Refunds Policy for more details.

What is considered a defect?

Natural wood variations—including grain patterns, minor color differences, micro-imperfections, or character marks—are not considered defects. These are expected with solid hardwood and are outlined in our Quality and Cosmetic Standards.

Care & Maintenance

How do I care for my hardwood furniture?

General guidance for wood furniture:

  • Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth
  • Avoid harsh chemicals or silicone-based cleaners
  • Use coasters, placemats, and heat protection
  • Maintain stable humidity levels to prevent excessive wood movement

International Shipping

Do you ship internationally?

We primarily ship within the continental United States. However, international shipping may be available upon request. Please email us to discuss options.
